What Feng Shui Method is Right for Me?

Please keep in mind there a various Feng Shui Methods that you can use, ultimately you can choose one or feel free to combine them, it's what works for you, everyone is different. Some Feng Shui Methods you can choose from are the Com-pus, Western, Black Sect, The Form school and the Bagua.

Feng Shui is not only about creating a beautiful decor for you home, a huge Feng Shui Principle is your intention on why your creating the environment you are, what is it that you want to achieve from incorporating Feng Shui into your lifestyle and what is it that you want to bring into your life...are you looking to move up in your career, start a family etc.


Some simple Feng Shui Tips using the Bauga method if you choose to try this method. The Bagua has a color, an element and a section that addresses all aspects of your life. For example the furthest back left hand corner of your New York city, Queens NY or Long Island NY apartment is the "wealth" Section, this can simply be addressed by adding the accent color of purple. For example this may be in the form of a photo, painting, abstract painting or vase full of fresh or silk flowers (try to stay away from dry flowers). Your Intention when placing an item that has purple is to enhance the 'wealth" Section, Think about why you want to enhance that area of your life, is it to increase your finances for a specific reason or to stabilize...everyone is different. Other simple Feng Shui Tips, grace your guest, family members, friends and you into your front door with a "welcome" sign or something that make you feel welcomed or symbolizes "welcome."


Just Remember this, in Feng Shui, when making changes, do them mindfully, understand why your making a change and from the change what you want to achieve and bring into your life.

Also do some research, try different Feng Shui methods and see what works for you, you'll come across many contradictions but that is why we recommend mixing and matching because in the end the goal is the same.

It's that time of year again...Spring Cleaning! This is a great time to incorporate Feng Shui into your every day living and have the chance to start new. Laura Cerrano of Feng Shui Manhattan NY and Feng Shui Long Island New York is happy to offer some simple Feng Shui Spring Cleaning tips for your home and for yourself.

You always here to lighten up your living environment or to "De-clutter." This is the simplest way to begin your Feng Shui Spring cleaning. By releasing what you do not " use, love or want" will allow more room energetically and in all other aspects, for what you want to come into your life. To much "stuff" or "clutter" can make you feel weighed down and in some cases stuck.

This Feng Shui Principle can relate to everything you do...even when cleaning. Give your home a deep Cleansing and when doing so think about all that you want to bring in, are you looking for more friends, a new job, new clients..etc. Your clearing to allow more positive energy into your life and the life of those you live with.
